But Déia wanted to go further: she wanted a space to unleash her full creativity—not only as a stylist, but also as a creative director, executive producer, and set designer.

This is how in 2015, she created her own children's fashion blog: Oui Lila!

Through Oui Lila!, Déia produced playful and imaginative editorials, collaborating with other inspired professionals from the world of children's and teen fashion. This blog became her true creative laboratory, a place where she could freely experiment with colors, stories, and visual concepts, giving life to editorials that were both charming and daring.

Along the way, Déia experienced a major personal chapter: she moved to France, built a new life, and started a happy family. And, with much encouragement from her husband, she decided to finally realize a long-held dream: opening her own children's boutique, a space where all her experience and sensitivity could be transformed into a unique curation.

Creativity has always been her driving force. As an adult, she discovered she had ADHD—a revelation that allowed her to understand her ever-evolving mind and infinite ideas, which she was able to transform into a strength. Since 2008, she has never stopped learning: in addition to her training in fashion, accessory, and shoe design, she has also taken makeup and photography courses, eager to master a little of everything to bring even more ideas to life with her own hands.

In 2021, she created Closet Déia Omena, a special collection where she sold pieces she had unearthed for her editorials—a real treasure trove for mothers who fell in love with the exclusive looks she created and dreamed of giving them to their own children.

Déia has also invested in upcycling, giving new life to clothes and accessories thanks to her personal and creative touch.

Always driven by boundless energy and boundless curiosity, Déia also started creating her own accessories when she couldn't find anything unique enough on the market. In 2016, she launched O'Mood Acessórios, a brand of creative handmade pieces.

In 2018, she specialized in leather and synthetic material techniques to design unique shoes and accessories, each piece reflecting her curious eye and joyful spirit.

Soon after, she began working alongside one of Brazil's most renowned children's stylists, assisting her and producing for major brands. She was part of the team at the launch of the very first issue of Harper's Bazaar Kids Brazil — an experience that later opened the doors for her to write her own editorials in magazines such as Crescer, N Magazine, and also in the American Babiekins Magazine in California, and later again in Harper's Bazaar Kids Brazil.

Her designs have dressed artists, actors, singers, and young influencers followed by millions of people. She has created looks for books, music videos, campaigns, television series, and projects that have shaped the Brazilian children's fashion market.

Deia Omena

Toboggan Kids will launch online in early September 2025, but this dream began to take shape much earlier, around 2015, long before it had a name.

Behind all this is someone who has loved – and lived – children's fashion for many years: Déia Omena.

Déia graduated in 2012 with a degree in Fashion Design from the Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo, one of Brazil's most renowned fashion schools. She has built her career with talent, curiosity, and a deep passion for creating and researching unique pieces. Her journey began in 2010 with internships in the world of children's and teen fashion, where she fell in love with the industry. She spent two years as an intern, working as a booker at one of Brazil's most respected children's modeling agencies, an experience that truly immersed her in the industry.

The following year, she took on a new challenge as a dress producer for the children's series Bugados on Mundo Gloob and the Globoplay platform, one of the most popular youth channels in Brazil.

Although the series spanned several years, Déia worked on it for six months, supporting the costume team. Her role was an essential part of the process: finding pieces in shops and archives, transporting materials from one seamstress to another, and ensuring that the clothes made by external contractors were ready and perfect for filming.

This is how Toboggan Kids was born.

A boutique designed for families who love creativity, self-expression, and freedom. For children free to be children—to play, get dirty, explore, and dream. A collection that bears the joyful, colorful, and bold imprint that has always defined Déia's work.

In September 2025, we arrive.

To inspire, to dress up memories and to celebrate childhood as it should be: authentic, playful and full of style.

See you very soon
